Who We Are 

Restore Jones County (RJC) is a branch of the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of Glory House Global Outreach. Restore Jones County is a long-term disaster recovery agency comprised of representatives from volunteer, private sector, businesses, community-based and faith-based organizations dedicated to connecting recovery resources with community needs in order to ensure that even the most vulnerable in our community recover from disaster. 

Our Mission Statement 

The mission of RJC is to provide recovery services to individuals and families affected by natural or man-made disasters in Jones County, Mississippi. Services will be provided regardless of the individual’s race, creed, gender, disability, or religious preference. 

What do we do?

Restore Jones County provides recovery services to individuals and families affected by the December 2019 and April 2020 tornadoes. We seek to identify individuals and families with unmet needs in our county, providing case management services to prioritize how those needs will be met and deliver goods, services and funds to meet those needs. 

What have we done?

To date, we have helped over 20 families across Jones County repair their homes to a safe and secure environment by repairing roofs, restoring the interior, replacing lost or damaged goods, furniture, and appliances, and returning their sense of security. 

What is left to be done?

We have 5 home repair projects that are awaiting funding to be started. Starting this fall, we have 6 new builds where all the labor will be provided FREE OF CHARGE! We just have to supply the materials.

What does a new build budget look like?

With the increased prices of building materials, what once would have cost us $40,000 in materials for one of our home layouts will now cost us $75,000 in materials.

How can YOU help?

We need to raise a total $500,000 to fully fund these new builds and our 5 home repair projects. That's a big number, but we trust that God's timing is always perfect and He will provide what we need. We ask that you prayerfully consider donating towards this great cause, and in doing so, create a new start for our neighbors who will be so grateful for this blessing of a new home!
